I see my work as a way to make nature come alive. Vibrant, moving, and ever-changing, nothing can take the place of the beauty I find in the natural world. It often makes me gasp with joy and wonder, and sometimes brings me to tears! I try to capture random moments in the nature I encounter, and bring them to life with colorful expressions.

 

You’ll see my style is not defined by traditional categories but always embraces bold color and suggests movement. I want you to feel like diving in, climbing high, or frolicking in the flowers! 

 

My current series Romancing the Sun is the culmination of years of chasing sunrises and sunsets around the world. Before that, Blaze chronicled my many journeys hiking on the Appalachian Trail.
